Dear Friend,

We have continued to see the goodness of the Lord this month. Many have been blessed though your partnership with us which has brought them joy, peace and new lives in our Lord. Below are the details:

Counselling Ministry
The ministry cared for 19 pregnant teenagers of which 3 gave birth and were resettled back home. The parents/ guardians were so grateful for the love and care we offered to their children. The girls at the center have grown to love their children, to know more about God and the plans He has for them. 46 clients were also counseled who came to our centers with different challenges.

Young mothers and children in Suubi Home are all in good health enjoying the home and progressing in school. We praise the Lord for partners supporting this home. One of our partners is willing to match the gifts up to $200 a month, if led to give, it will be a blessing to the home.

Operation Hannah
An outreach was carried out in Eastern Uganda, Naluwerere which attracted 15 parents. They shared about the need of prayer in a home raising Godly children, there after the members in the church pledged to continue with prayer for their families and the youth in their area.

Starfish Programme
Most of the children are doing their second term exams and soon coming back for school holiday. We are so grateful indeed for new Starfish sponsors who have committed to make a difference in the lives of those in need.

Outreach Ministry
The ministry reached 1,041 youth of which 66 committed their lives to the Lord. The G21 team in Kampala joined the Kenya Youth For Christ team in Migori, Kenya for a mission which took five days. It was a good experience for our youth. Many youth made commitments to the Lord and choose abstinence. One Survivor Night was held at the Uganda Christian University with a theme “After God’s Heart” which Paul shared. The response from the students was encouraging.

Visitors
We hosted Al Johnson and David VanValkenburg at Mirembe House where they were able to meet and share a word of encouragement with the pregnant teenagers. They also brought gifts from Hope House of Colorado for the babies, Subbi children and young mothers which included among others baby blankets, children’s clothes, reading material for which we are so grateful.

Thank you so much for making a difference in the lives of the people in our reach. We would not have been able to do all this without you. We treasure our partnership with you and we pray that together we will continue to be a blessing to many.

In Him Alone,

Miriam

Thanksgiving and Prayer

We thank God for the three staff that got USA visas, Philip’s safe travel to Denver and the funds for building office premises in Eastern Uganda.

Pray for our Board Chairperson Mr. Mugabi to get a USA visa to be able to attend the Youth For Christ General Assembly.
