Dear Friend,

The Lord has been so gracious to us this month. As a team, we have been able to bless many in our reach. Below is how you have made a difference in the lives of the people we have reached:

Counseling Ministry

The centre cared for 18 pregnant teenagers of which 7 gave birth to healthy babies and were resettled back home. 64 clients who came to us faced with different challenges were also counseled. The pregnant teenagers at Mirembe house, young mothers and children in Suubi home are all in good health and are continually growing spiritually.

Singles Meeting

On the 28th we hosted 31 young mothers of marriage age at the centre. It was a day of helping them cope with single life and also prepare for marriage. Our guest speaker was Pastor Justine Mugerwa. She focused on the life of Ruth, encouraging the young mothers not to look back but move forward. The young mothers expressed their thankfulness for the activities organized for them.

Follow up visits

Fourteen young mothers were followed up in their homes to find out how they are coping with the challenges parenting as young mothers. They were all found in good health; they were encouraged and given a packet of supplies.

Starfish sponsors

We hosted two starfish sponsors, i.e. Sarah & Hannah. They spent time with their children, challenged the pregnant teenagers at the centre to love one another as God has loved them and also deed hand crafts with them.

Outreach Ministry

We reached 2,188 youth of which 162 committed their lives to the Lord while 64 committed to abstain from sex until marriage. Ministry in Northern Uganda and Eastern Uganda offices is progressing well and gaining more acceptance in the community.
