Dear friend,

It is our joy to communicate to you what the Lord has done through our partnership with you. We have been greatly blessed by partners who served with us this month. Below is how you have been a blessing to many:

Counselling Ministry

We cared for 17 pregnant teenagers of whom 4 gave birth to healthy babies and resettled back home. All the pregnant teenagers are in good health and growing in the Lord. Forty nine clients with different challenges counseled.

Suubi Home

The home cares for six young mothers and five children. Carol qualified with a Diploma in Cosmetology and has transitioned to an independent life. Ruth and Esther joined the home and have settled in well.

Starfish Programme

We hosted 10 partners from Colorado who served mainly in the Starfish programme from 1st - 13th of May. They participated in the Starfish Camp, interviewed new entrants in the programme, retreat for young mothers and gave the Starfish Children gifts from their sponsors among other things. We appreciate all the sponsors for the gifts sent to their children and the three new sponsors for choosing to educate those in need.

The Starfish children reported back to school for second term on the 23rd of May all in good health.

Outreach Ministry

We reached 417 youth of which 16 committed their lives to the Lord while 10 committed to abstain from sex until marriage. We worked with three churches and one school. Mothers in the Operation Hannah prayer movement in Eastern Uganda mobilized youth in the Idudi area for a day’s youth meeting on the 21st which was very successful.

Partners

We hosted two partners two of their friends from USA on the 30th of May. They had lunch with the girls and children in Mirembe and Suubi Homes. They encouraged and also prayed with them.

Coaching Training

Five staff participated in a coaching training in Kenya. The training in coaching excellence took two days through which they are to grow as coaches and also coach others in the ministry.

We have been so blessed by your partnership with us that has made it possible for us to reach many with the Love and the gospel of Jesus Christ. Together we will continue to reach those in need to the glory of God.

• Continued transformation of teenage mothers and young mothers in our care
• Car for the Counselling Department which will mainly help in taking girls to hospital and carry out home visits after leaving the centre
• Building projects for our offices in Kampala and Eastern Uganda
