Dear Friend, The Lord has surely been with us these past six months. Together, we have seen the faitthfulness of the Lord and Him continue to use us for His glory. Below are details of how you have touched many: Couselling ministry We cared for 16 pregnant teenagers of which two gave birth normally to two wonderful babies and were resettled home. There parents were so grateful indeed for the services offered to their children.
Follow up visits We followed up 15 young mothers in their homes. They were all adjusting to the new role as young mothers and the enviroment. The parents and the girls awe offerd counselling in areas where need arose. They were all given a parkage full of basic reqirements. Young mothers who neeed more help were given assistance.
Operation Hannah We trained 35 people mostly women in Kirema for two days in areas of family life, importance of prayer alters in home and children. They all made a commitment to start family alters in their homes and continuing to pray.
Suubi Home On the 2nd of this month, we opened another home called Suubi (Hope) to accommodate young mothers and their children struggling or rejected from home. Curently we have three young mothers and their children. They have been so blessed by the home and are so grateful to God for it.
Outreach Ministy We reached 3,852 youth of which 1,303 commiited their lives to the Lord and 1,388 commited to abstain from sex until marriage. We were able to travel to a new area in Eastern Uganda ( Pallisa) for a mission of one week where our services were very much appreciated by the youth and the schools’ administration that we worked with. Â
Visitors from Britain On the 25th, we received visitors from UK Youth For Chirist. They have been involved in school outreach, encouraging and fellowshiping with the pregnant teenagers. They have been a blessing to us.
