Dear friend,

Happy New Year! It’s our prayer that this year will be full of joy, peace and prosperity in all you do. We are looking forward to serving the Lord with you this year. We believe that together we will touch many more lives for our Lord compared to last year. My team and I are excited to be used by God in this New Year.

Counseling Ministry

We cared for 22 pregnant teenagers and one young mother and counseled 40 clients. Four girls gave birth to healthy baby boys, they were all resettled back home. We are so grateful to God for He enabled Mary the Matron to help Doreen give birth at the centre. She was not sure of her month of pregnancy and was unable to make it to hospital so had to give birth at the centre. The mother and the baby are all in good health.

Starfish Programme

All the children are in school holidays and they are happy to be at home for the Christmas holidays.

Petua Nankya one of the young mothers graduated with a Diploma in Social Work and Social Administration. She one of the six students who got a first Class Diploma. Because of her performance she was retained at the institution as a Junior Lecturer. We are so grateful to God for enabling Petua to excel. She is so grateful to God, her sponsor and all who have contributed this achievement.

Outreach Ministry

We reached 510 youth of which 20 committed their lives to the Lord and 32 committed to abstain from sex until marriage. We had a mission in Gulu where we continued to work with Pastor George Tabu from Gulu Community Church.

On the 21st of December we had an appreciation of volunteers especially the six G21 volunteers who completed their time of service. They appreciated the opportunity God gave them to serve in this ministry. They were encouraged to continue doing God’s will and serving God whenever they go.

Dickson our Office Administrator got married to Sylvia on the 5th of December. We praise God for the gift of marriage that He gave them. Thank you so much for the prayers and encouragement you gave him
