Dear Friend,

This month has been full of God’s grace and goodness. We have been able to see Him enable us succeed in all we do and helping us get this far in ministry. Below is how you have been a blessing to many.

Counseling Ministry

We cared for 13 pregnant teenagers of which one gave birth to a healthy baby boy and was resettled back home. 33 clients with different challenges were also counseled.

Starfish programme

We hosted a team of three people from 30th April to 8th May i.e. Teresa Spurlock, Emilie Bauerle and Alice Young from USA, two works directly with the Starfish Programme and Alice Young, sponsors a child on the programme. They were involved in interacting with the children on the programme, giving them gifts from their respective programme, meetings with the staff about the progress of the programme and a camp at Gerenge camping site. We appreciate the sponsors for the gifs and cash donations that you gave to the children.

The Camp

Camp took place from 5th to 7th of May; it was very wonderful, educative and encouraging time for especially the young mothers. Topics that were involved include parenting, leadership, and love of God. Facilitators included visitors from USA, two of our new board members,

Mrs. Jessica Okello and Ms. Grace Mukiibi and staff. We hope it will be an annual event for the children. Thank you so much for making it possible to for the children to experience a different environment where they can learn and have fun.

Almost all the children have reported back to school for the second term studies.

Vocational Training

The classes in cookery and tailoring have been going on so well. The girls are excited about learning and some are making plans to advance in those studies.

Outreach Ministry (Kampala and Idudi Offices)

We reached 221 youth of which 68 committed their lives to the Lord and 90 committed to abstain from sex until marriage. Schools were almost the whole of this month but opened the last week of May. Therefore, the school ministry will resume steadily.

Visitors

On 19th we hosted Pastor Tod Eenigenburg from USA with 6 other visitors at the centre. They were introduced to the ministry and spent time with the girls. They shared, encouraged and prayed for the girls at the center. They gave a cash donation to the ministry. Thank you so much for visiting with us.

We appreciate you so much for blessing many this month and we believe that together we will continue to look out for those who need help and the love of God.

Praise and Prayer

• Praise God for progress in Subbi Home, we are furnishing the house and opening it on 3rd June. Thank to HOW 101 for donation of 800,000/= for furnishing the home.
• Pray for mission to Pallisa and Operation Hannah team speaking engagements in Eastern Uganda
• Visiting team from UK from 25th June- 9th July.
• YFC Uganda team continues growing in the Lord
