Welcome to YFC-Uganda Mirembe House

Youth For Christ - Uganda is an interdenominational organization with a vision to reach youth in Uganda with the gospel and the love of Jesus Christ. It started in 1992 as a counseling ministry reaching girls faced with Crisis Pregnancy. Over the years, we added an arm of Outreach which is mainly involved in Evangelism and discipleship.

Over the last eighteen years, it has been our joy to reach out to the youth with the love and the gospel of Jesus Christ. Beginning this year in all our programs, we are focusing more on relationship building were by, we get to know more of the youth God brings our way and help them develop into people of Godly character.

Happy New Year! It is our prayer that this New Year will be full of blessings from God for you and your loved ones. Counseling Ministry
Eleven pregnant teenagers were cared for at the centre of which three girls gave birth to healthy babes. We are so grateful to God for Susan, who was able to give birth by cesarean section despite her mental disability. All the girls are in good physical and psychological health, one girl committed her life to the Lord.  Thirty one clients with different challenges were also counseled.

Suubi Home
Three young mothers and their children are being cared for in Suubi Home. All the young mothers are in school on child in pre-primary. They are all happy to be in the home and progressing well in the developmental milestones.

Starfish Reunion
On the 25th January children and young mothers congregated at the centre. Young mothers discussed different issues that affect their lives and school with the guest speaker, Robert Luze as the moderator focusing on Psalms 113:7-8.  It was a wonderful day full of joy, love and hope.

Outreach Ministry
We reached 190 youth of which 33 committed their lives to the Lord while 29 committed to abstain from sex until marriage. A youth gathering was organized in Idudi Eastern Uganda which attracted 120 young people. We are so grateful to God for more young people finding our ministry of value.

New Interns and Visitors
We received new inters (Christina and Lisa) who will be serving with us for three months, on the 27th, Terry and Red came to serve with us too. They have been involved in encouraging, teaching the girls and helping with the accounts. We have been so blessed by their service.
